Wildfires were spread over so cal this weekend. We live at least 30-40 miles away from the fires, yet bits and pieces of people's homes and memories, in the form of ashes, were spread all over the city. We were couped up inside all weekend and an eerie orange color shown in through the windows at times. The fires are out now and piles of ashes are starting to blow away...what a mess. The weather is still hot, I'm beginning to wonder if we will have fall or winter this year. Bummer.
Father, may people turn to You in their devastation and loss. May our Kingdom increase through the tragedy.
