Whistler

We had a blast mountain biking and hanging out up at Whistler today. It was about a 1 1/2 hour drive north of Vancouver. Anna, Ryan, and I went mountain biking first while Rich and Sara walked around town, then Rich went with Ryan while Anna Sara and I ate ice cream and drank iced tea. Ryan is really good on his bike, and the two of them made it down in half the time that it took me and the kids! Sara spent the day strolling around the village, continuously pointing out the fake cow's "wee wee," which was actually the cow's udders! We were cracking up. It was very hot today, and there was a fire on the back side of Blackcomb mountain, which apparently started yesterday due to an electrical storm. They put the fire out by the afternoon and the air cleaned up a bit. Needless to say we all fell asleep quickly in the car on our way down from the mountain...it's gonna be an early night!
