Home

1. A place where one lives; a residence.

2. The physical structure within which one lives, such as a house or apartment.

3. A dwelling place together with the family or social unit that occupies it; a household.
4. An environment offering security and happiness.
5. The place, such as a country or town, where one was born or has lived for a long period.

6. A headquarters; a home base.

We've learned a lot about "home" while being so far away from home. When we were in Canada, we called America home. When we were in touring a city or town, we called the RV home. When we were in Oregon coming back, we called California home. When we were visiting Auntie Sol in San Francisco, it definitely felt like home. When we hit LA and were bumping down the 405 getting cut-off all over the place, Rich commented, "Aaah, home sweet home." When Anna saw the lights in the harbor, she exclaimed, "Yeah, were finally home!" and when we pulled in front our house, all sighed in relief, "home."

It's good to be home.
