A trip to the aquarium is always fun, regardless of how old the kids are. We always have a great time. At one point we were cracking ourselves up at the big huge fish tank. The kids decided to find fish that met characteristics of each one of us. So...
They chose this fish for Rich. He was the largest fish in the tank. He swam with purpose, confidence, and assurance, always keeping an eye on his surroundings.
Here is the fish they chose for me. This fish has a large bump on the front of it's head, and well...so do I (don't worry, it's benign).
Here is the fish that's like Sara. It was probably the smallest one in the tank and it moved very quickly, with curiosity and excitement.
This fish cracked me up. It was sooo Ryan! This fish didn't know if he was coming or going. He just swam...randomly. Up, down, forward, backward... He is a very colorful and "dynamic" fish!
This fish was like Anna. It stayed in the coral...where it was safe. Every move it made was planned and executed with purpose. You might say...alert! That's my Anna!
I loved all of the fish the kids chose for themselves and each other. It was a great reminder of all the different personalities in our family and why we spend so much time arguing trying to be patient and forgiving with one another!
