The last hike we did was called The Emerald Pools. It was hot by the time we got started and one of the longer hikes that we did. I didn't take many pictures on this hike because it was just too hot and too sunny. The pools were not Emerald (apparently certain times of the year the algae makes them look green) during the heat of the summer, but watching water fall from rocks just never gets old! The best part of the hike was finishing the hike, walking across the street to Zion Lodge, getting a huge Nalgene bottle full of ice water, large ice cream cones for the kids, and sitting in the grassy shade!

| If you look closely, you can see people resting in the shade toward the bottom of the waterfall. |
