When Anna was in kindergarten, she asked to get her ears pierced. I told her she had to wait until third grade, and if she still wanted it done, then I would take her. By then, she developed somewhat of a needle phobia, so she completely dismissed the idea for many years. However, she had been toiling for the past year or so, trying to get up the nerve to get it done. Her and one of her best friends decided to take the plunge together! After it was done (and so painless) she couldn't believe she waited so long to have it done! It was very special getting it done the day before her 8th grade banquet with her best friend! Cute!!
