Anna and Ryan (especially Anna) have been asking when they could be baptized for the last couple of years, so tonight they had the opportunity! There were around 60 people who took the plunge tonight and they waited for 2 1/2 hours for their turn! They both thought that being baptized was "really fun" and were happy to have refreshments after it was over. Both Anna and Ryan love the Lord. Anna truly has a heart to tell people about Jesus, starting with the neighborhood kids! Ryan's heart is filled with compassion, especially for the poor and the orphans. It's my daily prayer that they go where the Lord leads...
Father, thank you for accepting Anna and Ryan into your Kingdom. Hold them close, in the "shadow of the Almighty," as they attempt to walk down the narrow path that leads to you, in a world full of destruction and lies. Bless them and keep them all of their days.
