This is one of my new favorite shots. As I was watching the kids, I was distracted by this image out of the corner of my eye. This surfer is about 150 feet out and is standing on a rock (not shown are the small bluffs to the right of the photograph). He was waiting for waves and when one came his way, he simply jumped on it and rode it in! A unique surfing style and a unique photograph. It was a fairly clear day, so Catalina Island was visible in the background.
I didn't bring my camera, so this shot was taken with Anna's Kodak EasyShare C513.
