The End

We finally got back the RV. The problem was with some electrical components in the transmission. When Rich was talking with the transmission guy right after we broke down and he mentioned that it might be that specific problem. In retrospect, I'm not sure why it took so long to diagnose and fix. After we left the RV in Salinas and time was dragging on, Rich said that if it was in L.A. that it would be fixed in a few days. He was right. We're just glad that the drama of it all is over. We spent much of the weekend taking everything out (It's amazing what we've accumulated over the past 4 years!) and washing, scrubbing, bleaching, and cleaning every nook and cranny. Now it's clean and tidy and we're looking forward to our next trip!
